Gearboxes

Gearboxes are used to reduce the output speed of electric motors and increase torque. Planetary gearboxes are characterized by low gear backlash, compact size and high efficiency, and are most often used in combination with servomotors or stepper motors. Spur, worm and flat gearboxes are offered in combination with asynchronous (AC) or DC and BLDC motors. So-called "spurless gearboxes" are used for high-precision applications in machine tools or robotics.
