CL4-E

Universal control unit for stepper motors and BLDC motors. Two versions are available, differing in current, namely 3 A rated current / 6 A peak current and 6 A rated current / 18 A peak current. Additional safety with 48 V tolerances of batteries and power supplies is provided by a maximum operating voltage of 58 V.

Unique SENSORLESS CLOSED LOOP function - after autosetup, the controller is able to detect the motor speed even if it is not equipped with an encoder. The control unit creates its own virtual encoder. Using this virtual encoder, the control unit is able to detect the motor speed at motor speeds higher than approx. 100-200 rpm (depending on the motor type) and control the motor as if it were running in a closed loop - the motor is quieter, has minimal resonance, higher efficiency, less heating.
